Located in the former deep-freeze plant of the Hansa coking plant, SchwarzGold offers modern fine dining, Ruhrpott style. Head chef Pierre Beckerling and his team set new standards for the region with sustainably produced regional products. Another important part of the concept is the SchwarzGold bar, where bar manager Roland Kulik treats guests to aperitifs, wine pairings and after-dinner drinks in a relaxed atmosphere with a real bar culture before and after their visit to the restaurant.
 

As a menu-only restaurant, SchwarzGold is part of the dinner&co group run by renowned restaurateur Sascha Nies.

The SchwarzGold is open for you from Wednesday to Saturday. From 6 p.m. you can get in the mood for a nice evening with an aperitif at our bar. The restaurant is then open for you from 7.00 pm.

As we buy fresh produce daily for our menu, you must reserve a table before your visit to SchwarzGold via our website or by telephone on 0231 226 1 96 10. As a rule, we cannot cater for spontaneous guests.

You can cancel a reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the reserved date. Please understand that we reserve the right to charge a flat rate of EUR 155 per person in the event of late cancellation, no-show or spontaneous reduction in the number of guests.

Please inform us of any allergies and/or intolerances when making your table reservation.

Both the restaurant and the bar at SchwarzGold are barrier-free. If you need special assistance on site, please let us know in advance.

Give away a piece of SchwarzGold. You can request our vouchers here. They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Unfortunately, cash payment is not possible. Please reserve a table in advance if you would like to redeem the voucher.
